Having run play areas for 17 years I believe I have managed to build up a reasonable level of knowledge and understanding in the industry. When I started there were very few play areas in existence and when I saw my first one my immediate reaction was that this must be a licence to print money.

There are now more than 600 play areas in the UK and the general public still believe that we are all raking it in. The advice I supply shows that this is a very hard business to make money at (I suggest you read my newsletters to get an understanding of how hard it is) and it certainly will not make you a millionaire.

The biggest problem for potential investors is to get a true picture of the industry, for who do you know who to believe? I will not show you inflated figures and understated operating costs. I will explain it exactly how it is, warts and all, and then you will be able to make an informed decision.
